Such a sucker for masculine neutrals I'd feel right at home in this space. I really love everything about it, especially the clustered globe centerpiece & solo pendant light in the bedroom. Tis perfection..

Rooftop Apartment in Manhattan by Madderlake Designs. There is something about living in glass surrounded by plants, boots, and comfy linens that we can all find serenity in. I love this space and the concept of "living green", literally.

it's electric: ( boogiewoogie woogie )

I can't seem to shake this obsession with exposed light bulbs. There is a small corner of my living area just screaming for this type of hanging installation. I promise, I will remember to shut them ALL off when I leave the room.

Oh, and I do believe a pair of Edison bulbs make the perfect Christmas gift (winkwink).

Stuck at home all day due to a snowstorm but feeling completely inspired as a result. Check out Tine K's home catalog which screams Christmas done right.

Time to dig out the branch cutters, dried pine cones, and paper ornaments. The clear glass bulbs are perfection hanging from raw branches. I'd prefer just a bit more twinkle in my space but this styled set feels flawless.

rings & things

This, to me, is the perfect set of engagement/wedding rings & drapey, effortless dress. Rings are by Devera Objects and a designer named Sayumi Yokouchi, (seriously IN LOVE ladies). I have a hard time browsing through wedding blogs because once I start, I can't stop. So it's best I stay away until my time comes.

After selling a few major bedroom pieces on craigslist, I've once again become inspired to play & re-position my space. Old fans & lighting fixtures are always on my "keep an eye-out for" shopping list when antiquing. These rooms demonstrate perfect positioning of these signature pieces.

basket weave

Guido Palau’s basket-weave hairstyles for Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 are getting me all hot & bothered. I remember doing something similar back in the days of hair school with a mannequin head sitting on my desk. I love the roughness at the ends and the sort of unfinished, hand-made result.

Digging through some old "sneak peek" archives at Design*Sponge. Here are a few of my favorites from Susan and William Brinson's home in NY. The metal letter collection above the tool cabinet is amazing. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
